My favorite Indian restaurant is closing. Bombay 2 Deli in Northeast is closing. I haven't gone enough, I haven't eaten enough. I feel so bad about that. (though the owner swears it isn't for lack of business, it is more about the time they've had to put in and wanting to change their hours)

However, it is not all bad. After a few months off, they are opening downtown. Not that far away from where I work. I hear this upcoming Wednesday is their last day, so get your fix in fast. But come January they will be in the neighborhood of Kierans downtown. So close to me, I may eat there every day. Mmm... samosa chaat.

It just isn't fair

I'm 31, I have black hair, and I have this much gray.

It just isn't fair.  and I've been in denial, but that picture proves it...

And ooo, cute kid picking apples too!  Just look at the cute kid, not the gray.

If they only came in my size.

They call it Steph. For some odd reason, I see that as fitting.

Good thing we have a lot in that color.

Special thanks to sis-in-law to be for somehow knowing in advance what color of Crocs would be best.

If you got ordained by the Universal Life Church, and you go to register with the county, if you need to wait after registration before you can perform ceremonies.

Cause uh, the wedding is next Monday, and I keep forgetting the paperwork.

Between the writing, the reading, the day job which is requiring night time work, and oh yeah, chasing the wild and crazy toddler around the house seventymillion times, I'm a little tired.

And that was before I agreed to help plan the wedding and keep the bride from kicking the grooms ass for suggesting that maybe she should wear something other than jeans and t-shirt.

She didn't, she is, and I got her to buy a new bra too.

Well, that was better

OMG, so far loving the new daycare.  Advantage here is that I don't have to worry about pissing someone off, but.

At the old daycare, kids would get dropped off and would freak out, and cry, and the teachers did NOTHING.

New daycare, similar aged kids, the teachers actively take part in what is happening with drop off and do everything to make sure the kids know it is OK, and that they are cared about, and respected.

Its about fucking respect.  They respect them, even though they may be a wee little 15 months, and treat them like they are valuable, independent people.  Not just a creature to be cared for, but a human being.

And they have male teachers, which I don't care what some may think, seeing male caregivers is good for kids.  There are still some of the same challenges and struggles with making sure that everything is covered, but what comes first is those kids, not bitching about how you don't have enough money.

Ok, rant done.
