First Hair Cut

So I posted about it at the other blog, but there are no faces there.  I have yet to get a really good photo of it that includes her face, but if you want, check out the latest on Flickr.  (including her eating a fresh spring roll?!)

Oh, heck, couldn't resist.  (the kid loves lettuce)  For the record, I had nothing to do with the black eye.  Some little shit in her class wanted a toy she had and pinched her hard right under the eye.   And so it begins again.  She's back in class with the terror twins and at least one other little bully.  I'm still not sure how I want to react, but I'm a bit concerned because a little higher and that could have been bad bad bad.

This one is for Syl

So much can change in a year...

Friday, 19 December 2008

Well, more like 11 months.

Hrm, you would think I was busy or something.

I guess this has just turned into a place to post stuff I can't post to the other place...

Like pictures of my child screaming at the mere thought of sitting in a stranger's lap. Scream-ing. I do believe we've hit some stranger anxiety...

Huge kudos to daycare for bringing the very very nice Santa in.  Definitely a pro, I almost felt a little bit of leftover belief in myself.   Maybe next year, right?

Ugh...

Well, these are our only Halloween pictures, since we had a major blowout in her costume, down to the too cute socks, right after arriving for our surprise.  Which turned out to be not nearly as much fun as we had hope for.

We have reached our parental quota for perhaps the next two months.

But, here we are, bee and bee keeper, from my work.

Or not so much, seems blogger is being evil.  Will post to flickr instead.

Sorry about the test

Troubleshooting an internet issue, that I thought was Comcast being asses, and turned out to be faulty hardware.  I was trying to upload a new video to Flickr, for my mom.

Weekend before last we went to the LARK toy store in Kellog, including a stop in Red Wing that didn't involve the in-laws.  We went to one of the parks ajd played in when he was a kid and lamented the loss of some of his favorite equipment.  The video is from her first solo down a really really big slide that doesn't nearly have the safety features of newer ones.  It was fun.

The LARK toy store, not worth the drive unless you really have a thing for carousels.  You can get anything they have there at one of the many local specialty/green toy stores.
